Master Builders Survey of Industry Conditions

Mark Beath at Loose Change has an excellent post on the latest Master Builders Survey of Industry Conditions for the Dec 2014 quarter. As Mark highlights, the forecasts from the survey have a rather chequered history when compared to actual results. Nevertheless, in the Far North area the survey has certainly shown a positive trend over recent quarters (even if not quite as positive as the forecasts might have predicted).

So far as the industry outlook is concerned the FNQ region leads the ex-SE QLD pack with an index score of 62.5 (50 being a “neutral” score). The region also scores well in terms of profit, and less well in the employment area. Full details of the regional breakdown from the Survey below.
