Working with Community Groups

We have worked with many community groups and associations in the Cassowary Coast region to deliver a variety of projects.

These have included the Strategic Business Plan for the Mission Beach Community Arts Centre, a Strategic Plan for the Mission Wellness Project, a Business and Marketing Seminar for Mission Beach Business & Tourism, assistance with securing sponsors or financial support and facilitating business planning workshops.

We are currently partnered with Mission Beach Business and Tourism to provide a series of FREE Strategic Planning Workshops for Community Groups and not-for-profits in the region. The workshops will be augmented with the opportunity for FREE mentoring over the coming months for some attending groups. Further details are available here.

Local Government Projects

Conus also has an enviable record of delivering projects for Local Governments in the region. Projects have included a Transport Audit and Plan and Community Markets project for the Liveable Cassowary Coast (auspiced by the Cassowary Coast Regional Council), a report on Sea Changers in Mission Beach for the CCRC, and a Community Transport Coordination Feasibility Study for the Tablelands Regional Council.

When delivering on Community Projects we can draw on a wealth of experience in community engagement, survey techniques, broad community reach, working closely with Coucil officers and in-depth local knowledge. We have also assisted numerous community groups with attracting grant funding to initiate projects.
